Every building begins with an idea. At DeZZign, we transform that idea into a precise architectural solution — from concept sketches to full working documentation ready for construction.

We work with private residences, commercial buildings, and mixed-use projects across the USA, Europe, and Ukraine. Our approach combines European design sensibility with practical engineering precision.

Q&A

Can you design a building for a project in Seattle or the US?

Yes. Our architects develop concepts, 3D visualizations, interior design and the full documentation for US projects to local building codes. Drawings that require a local license are signed by licensed professionals we work with.

What is the difference between a Sketch Project and a Working Project?

A Sketch Project includes the concept, layout solution, and 3D visualizations — it shows what your building will look like. A Working Project is a full technical documentation package required for construction: all drawings, plans, sections, and material specifications.

How long does an architectural project take?

A Sketch Project typically takes 4-8 weeks depending on the complexity and size of the object. A Working Project takes 8-16 weeks. Timelines are agreed individually at the start of the project.

Do you work with both residential and commercial projects?

Yes. Our portfolio includes private residences, apartment buildings, office spaces, medical clinics, and historic entrance groups. We approach each typology with the same attention to detail and functional precision.

What software do you use for architectural design?

We work with ArchiCAD and Revit for technical documentation, SketchUp for concept modeling, 3ds Max, Corona Renderer, V-Ray, and Blender for photorealistic visualization, and Unreal Engine for interactive real-time walkthroughs.

How does author supervision work during construction?

Our architect visits the site regularly to verify that construction matches the approved documentation. We review contractor work, approve material samples, resolve technical questions on site, and ensure the design intent is preserved throughout the build.

Architectural Design Services in Seattle, Bellevue & Kirkland

DeZZign provides full-cycle architectural design services for custom homes, residential developments, home additions, and luxury residences in Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Sammamish, and across Washington State. Our in-house architects combine European design principles with deep knowledge of Pacific Northwest building codes, climate conditions, and local aesthetics.

Every architectural project begins with a thorough site analysis and client consultation. We study the topography, sun exposure, views, neighboring structures, and zoning regulations before proposing a single line. This careful groundwork ensures that our designs are not only beautiful but buildable, compliant, and tailored to how you actually live.

What Our Architectural Service Includes

Our architectural design service covers the complete project lifecycle: schematic design and concept development, design development with material and finish specifications, construction documents for permit submission, coordination with structural and MEP engineers, contractor support during construction, and post-occupancy review. We handle every phase so you have one point of contact from first sketch to final walkthrough.

We design single-family homes, ADUs, multi-family developments, home additions, and light commercial projects. Whether you are building on a sloped Seattle lot, designing a waterfront residence on Lake Washington, or adding a second story to your Bellevue home, our team has the experience to navigate the complexity and deliver a result you will love for decades.

Why Clients Choose DeZZign for Architecture in Seattle

Seattle homeowners choose DeZZign because we combine European-trained design sensibility with local expertise. We understand the Seattle Design Review process, King County permit requirements, and the specific challenges of building in a rainy climate with seismic considerations. Our architects prepare the drawings to local codes and plan for permit review from the first sketch, and drawings that require a local license are signed by licensed professionals we work with, which helps avoid the costly redesigns that often delay approval. We are fluent in modern, contemporary, Scandinavian, and Pacific Northwest architectural styles and can work within any aesthetic direction you bring to us.

Our Process, Step by Step

We start with site analysis and a conversation about how you want to live. Schematic design follows, with floor plans, massing, and the first renderings. In design development we refine materials, structure, and systems with our engineers. Construction documents then turn the design into a permit-ready set, and during construction we answer contractor questions and review the work on site. At every stage you see the house in 3D, so decisions are made on screen rather than on the job site.

What Shapes Architecture in the Pacific Northwest

Building around Seattle means designing for rain, slopes, and earthquakes as much as for views. Deep overhangs, rainscreen walls, and careful drainage keep the envelope dry; many attractive lots sit on slopes or near water and fall under environmentally critical area rules; and Washington's seismic and energy codes shape the structure, the glazing, and the mechanical systems. We account for all of this from the first sketch.
