About DeZZign
We are an architecture and interior design bureau based in Seattle and Kharkiv. In 8 years our team of 10 specialists has completed 38 projects in 7 countries: private residences, apartments, offices and medical clinics. Architecture, interiors and construction stay within one team, so what we draw is what gets built.
The role
You take an interior from the first measurement to the day the client moves in, with a lead who reviews every set of drawings.
What you will do
- Survey and brief. Measured plans, photo survey of the existing condition, the client's brief and budget.
- Concept and planning. Layout options, zoning, furniture plans, the direction for materials and light.
- Visuals. 3D views that show real materials, real light and real products, not a mood.
- Working drawings. The full set the trades build from: demolition and construction plans, electrical and lighting, ceilings, floors, tile layouts, joinery, elevations. For a 118 m² apartment our set runs to 68 A3 sheets.
- Specification. Materials, furniture, lighting and sanitaryware with quantities and suppliers.
- Supervision. Answering site questions, visits, keeping the decisions made on paper true on site.
- Presentations. Presenting to clients, in English for our clients in the US and the Gulf.
What we expect
- 3 years or more in interior design, with built projects in your portfolio, not only concepts.
- Residential projects of 100 m² and more done from concept to working drawings.
- ArchiCAD: we draw and count quantities in it. Revit or AutoCAD with a will to switch is fine.
- A visualization tool you are fast in (3ds Max with Corona or V-Ray, or similar) and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of materials, details and building rules, so drawings work on site.
- English at B1 or higher.
- Calm with clients and contractors, and you keep your deadlines.
A plus
- Projects abroad, especially in the US or the UAE.
- Site supervision experience.
- Hand sketching.
- Commercial interiors: offices, clinics, HoReCa.
