House for Cosmopolitan

Cosmopolitan was conceived as a high-end private residence in the Kharkiv region, surrounded by pine forest and located near the Saltivske Reservoir.

For this project, DeZZign was responsible not only for the interior design, but for its complete realization - construction, material selection, furniture and lighting.

The goal was to create a sophisticated contemporary residence without allowing individual elements to compete with the architecture.

High-End Italian Design

The interior was furnished and equipped with a carefully selected collection of leading European brands, including Poltrona Frau, Poliform, Boffi, B&B Italia, Rimadesio and Flos.

These were not simply luxury products added after the design was finished. Furniture, lighting, partitions and built-in systems were considered as part of the architecture itself.

Poliform and Boffi established the architectural language of the built-in elements. Rimadesio kept partitions and doors visually light. Poltrona Frau added tactile depth through leather, while B&B Italia and Flos contributed furniture and lighting with strong contemporary character.

The result is luxurious without feeling like a showroom.

Material and Detail

The material palette relies on stone, wood, glass, metal and carefully selected finishes.

With a restrained interior, there is nowhere for poor detailing to hide. Every junction, proportion and transition becomes visible.

That is why construction was treated as part of the design process rather than as a separate stage. The team coordinated materials, furniture, lighting, built-in elements and architectural details all the way through implementation.

Architecture and Landscape

The house was designed as a continuous relationship between interior and landscape. Large openings bring the surrounding pine forest into the living spaces, while connected common areas create a sense of openness.

During the day, natural light and the landscape dominate the atmosphere. At night, carefully integrated lighting, furniture and materials create a more intimate environment.

One Complete Interior

Cosmopolitan represents the type of residential project where design, construction and furnishing cannot be separated.

Architecture establishes the framework. Materials create its character. Furniture defines how the spaces are experienced. Lighting changes their atmosphere. Construction makes the entire concept real.

The objective was never to put expensive things inside a house. It was to create a house in which every element belonged.

Cosmopolitan brought together interior design, construction, furniture selection and material selection into a single continuous process.
