Can I use material selection as a standalone service?
Yes. You do not need to have designed your project with DeZZign to use our material selection service. We work from your existing design documentation — floor plans, mood boards, or a general style direction — and produce a complete material specification.
Do you work with specific suppliers in Seattle?
Yes. We have established relationships with flooring, tile, stone, plumbing, and hardware suppliers across the Seattle Metro Area. We know who is reliable, who has the best selection, and who offers trade pricing. Our partner discounts typically offset a significant portion of our fee.
What is a material board?
A material board is a document — physical or digital — that shows all selected finishes for a project in one place. It includes product names, finish codes, supplier contacts, unit pricing, and lead times. Your contractor and procurement team use it to order materials without ambiguity.
How do you handle materials with long lead times?
We flag long lead time items early and sequence procurement to match the construction schedule. In the PNW market, some imported tiles and stone can have 8-16 week lead times. We plan for this from the start so materials are on site when needed.
Can you source materials not available locally?
Yes. We source materials from across the US and internationally — European tiles, Italian stone, Scandinavian hardware, and specialty finishes not available in local showrooms. We manage the import logistics and ensure materials meet US standards.
How much does material selection cost?
Our material selection fee depends on project scope and number of spaces. For a single bathroom or kitchen, fees start from $800-1,500. Full-home material selection is priced individually. Contact us for a quote based on your specific project.
